I highly recommend Mr Jan and his team. Having a hysterectomy can be quite an emotional experience and Mr Jan had exactly the right balance of compassion, expertise and guidance to reassure me. Mr Jan is a great communicator and was open to just picking up the phone re. questions which was practical and time saving. Mr Jan completed the surgery with minimal invasiveness and I'm pleased with the results. Helen, Mr Jan's PA complements the second to none customer service- she went out of her way to organise appointments and she's reassuring and knowledgeable. Thank you !

After seeing numerous gynaecologists Dr Jan was the first person who got to the cause of my pain and issues. I felt that he listened to my concerns and was very thorough with tests and scans before my operation for the removal of fibroids. The procedure (laparoscopic myomectomy) was a success and the recovery time was minimal. The care I received throughout has been excellent- from Dr Jan, Helen, Dr Wendy King and the staff at Ashtead Hospital. I would highly recommend Dr Jan for any gynae issues that you may have.

There are no words to describe the care, professionalism and talent of Mr Jan. I had surgery a week and a half ago and I already feel almost back to normal. I feel blessed to have been referred to him I was in agony for a long time with my endometriosis. His team are also fantastic! Thank you to Helen and Dr Wendy King the anaesthetist as well as the gentleman that was working alongside her. I've had bad experiences with procedures in the past so I was very anxious about my procedure. They answered all my questions, reassured me and looked after me. If you need anything done gynaecologically have no doubts, go to Mr Jan!

From the beginning to the end of my treatment Mr Jan was an amazing doctor. He always put me at ease when I was worried and when discussing treatment plans. He never rushed through the appointments and always took the time to explain everything fully until I understood. You could tell he really cared and you were never just a number on his patient list and he was very passionate about what he did. He was extremely professional and the operation I had was a huge success. I really could not have asked for better care. I am extremely grateful to have had him as my doctor/surgeon and would recommend him highly to everyone.

He was punctual and had a good understanding of my history for my appointment. He was approachable and I felt I had time to ask questions. When I asked questions he answered them without rushing the answer or ending the consultation abruptly like I have experienced with other Doctors who are generally have limited time, due to my appointment being late, causing a knock on effect for other patients. Dr Jan is very clear in his communication and allowed me to feel that I was being listened to as well as giving me the main facts I needed to know to help me understand my condition. I was seen at Epsom hospital but this was not an option below.
